Who we are & What we provide

ON YOUR BIKE! is one of the Isle of Cumbrae's most comprehensive bike hire and kayak hire center situated on the busy seafront only a few minutes walk from the pier. We are an independent family run business providing much more than just a bike hire shop.

We offer a wide range of bike hire for a fun way to explore the outdoors and enjoy the spectacular scenery around the Island including:

We have a variety of accessories including trailers for both dogs and kids, stabilisers if required, child seats and tag-a-longs! We have a selection of helmets available free of charge to hire, however we advise to bring your own if you can to ensure best fit.

Our friendly team of staff are on hand to offer advice and provide demonstrations on all our cycles. All our hire bikes are inspected by our service team prior to going out to ensure you enjoy a trouble free hire. However we also provide a free bike break down recovery service for all hires to enable you to continue to complete your cycle. We offer discounts to large parties (exceeding 10) paying as a group.

On request upon return from your hire, we will create a personalised certificate of achievement confirming that you have conquered the 10.25 miles of Cumbrae.

As well as hiring bikes, we also specialize in Kayak Hire! With Single person & Double person kayaks, what better way to spend the day in Millport than getting out on the water and seeing some of the local wildlife? Getting into kayaking is never easier than with a Fatyak kayak. Fatyaks are the ultimate, family-friendly kayak. Email or contact the store for our T&Cs, these will be provided to you to read over before rental. Getting out on the kayaks are a fantastic way to get up close to the sea life and it makes it possible to visit the little islands in the bay.

We also offer a selection of merchandise including bike spares and accessories, GUL water sports clothing and accessories and provide in store cycle repairs/servicing carried out by our Velotech Certified Bike Mechanics.
