Outside of Millport are the Water Sports Centre which offers meals and has a licensed bar and the Flintry Bay Tea Room offering meals and refreshments.
Millport its self has many bars and cafes, the smallest Cathedral in Europe pictured below is well worth a visit. There is a small museum in the newly refurbished Garrison House, which has a model villiage situated behind it. There is also a museum at the Marine Station situated just out of town by the Lion Rock, the Marine Station also houses the areas Hyperbaric Chamber for diving incidents.
Cumbraes inner circle offerers breath taking views to Arran, Bute and Largs on a clear day.
Cumbrae is a photographers dream and is also popular with geology students due to our rock formations and bird watchers as the island offers a good varied habitat for birds with its moor land, woodlands and sea cliffs. The Cathedral grounds are home to Tawny Owls & Collar Doves. Please ask in store our Cumbrae bird spotting sheets.
